In the end we did not use the bus as much as anticipated. Nevertheless, it worked as well as can be expected: buses came regularly, and the commentary was very good. The only minor downside was the distances needed to be walked to get to some of the ‘sights’, esp. the Colosseum, given that bus stop is closed (but it’s the same for all the HoHo bus companies). But all in all, a good experience.
